Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Release Train Engineer) to join the Government Training Engineering (GTE) team in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting engineering teams across the F-15 USAF Training Systems Agile Release Train, working with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers and all stakeholders to ensure continuous delivery and improvement in the GTE F-15 USAF ART. The successful candidate will work directly with the engineering teams and program management to help oversee the portfolio and drive towards performance to plan, in addition to execution according to schedule.Position Responsibilities:Provide guidance and support to ART in an agile environment to produce high-quality productsAssists with managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members on agile methodologiesAssure the correct individuals on the ART own, mitigate, and communicate issues and risksEscalate and track impediments & provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecksManage and optimize the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various toolsAssure managers have insight into project execution metrics and performance indicators by assisting with collecting, reporting, tracking, understanding, and taking action on metricsMonitor data coherency for the ART and engage Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to maintain coherency, elevating to engineering leaders as appropriateEstablish and communicate the annual calendars for Planning Increments (PIs)Facilitate the PI planning events and periodic synchronization meetingsWork with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignmentDrive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improveHelp Scrum Masters protect team from undue interruptions (i.e. help team define and reinforce popup processes)Work with other RTEs to drive to standard implementations of ART processes as appropriateBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement3+ years of experience leading a team or project3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teamsExperience with Agile planning/project management tools (VersionOne, Jira, etc.)Experience with scrum framework and agile methodologiesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active US Secret ClearanceExperience in the aerospace industryExperience as an RTE or Scrum Master for multiple teams in cross-functional organizationExperience in engineering project planningExperience with project management in an engineering environmentExperience with the software development life cycleAgile certificationConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
