CNC Programmer
*About the Role*
My aerospace manufacturing client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support the development and optimization of CNC programs for complex, precision aerospace components. This is a hands-on role focused on programming, process improvement, troubleshooting, and supporting production.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and maintain CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining and turning centers.
* Support machining process development, tooling, fixturing, and work instructions.
* Troubleshoot CNC programming, tooling, and machining issues.
* Perform time studies and support production efficiency improvements.
* Use SPC/process capability data to improve quality and first-pass yield.
* Support NPI, cost estimating, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
*Qualifications*
* 5–10 years of CNC programming experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
* Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining, turning, and/or grinding.
* CAM experience with Esprit, Mastercam, Edgecam, GibbsCAM, or Fusion 360.
* Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
* Experience with SolidWorks or NX is a plus.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Aerospace or other precision manufacturing experience preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
