Commercial Field Engineer

Job DescriptionA well-established commercial general contractor is seeking a driven Field Engineer to support project teams and assist with the day-to-day coordination of commercial construction projects.The Field Engineer will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors to help ensure projects run efficiently, stay on schedule, and maintain strong quality and safety standards. This Field Engineer role is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their construction career who wants to gain hands-on experience in the field and grow within a respected contractor.Key Responsibilities:Support Superintendents and Project Managers with daily project coordinationAssist with subcontractor scheduling and jobsite logisticsHelp track project progress and maintain project documentationReview drawings and specifications to support field executionAssist with RFIs, submittals, and field reportsCoordinate inspections and ensure work meets project specificationsSupport jobsite safety efforts and maintain organized field documentationQualifications:1-3+ years of construction experience or relevant internship experienceBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredStrong understanding of construction drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work closely with field teams and subcontractorsProficiency with construction management software is a plusThis Field Engineer opportunity offers strong mentorship, hands-on project exposure, and a clear path for career growth within a stable and growing commercial contractor.Our client is ready to hire immediately!
