You'll be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that values your ideas and contributions.Summary:Utilizes knowledge to program, set-up, operate and inspect a variety of CNC and manual machines to efficiently produce prototype and production parts to specification.Responsibilities:Works with a variety of materials, tooling, and machine operationsInterprets engineering drawings and sketches to plan, layout, and establish set-up proceduresInspects first-run and in-process parts using precision measuring equipmentPromptly and accurately completes all required recordkeepingPerforms machine maintenance per preventive maintenance instructionsMaintains the machine and surrounding working clean, safe and organized using 5S practicesMay develop and improve machine processes and documents process data sheetsComplete deburr process as directed by area supervisorMaintain security and confidentiality of customer and internal products and documentationParticipate in providing timely feedback to upstream and downstream operations as appropriateProactively participate in site Lean engagement and activities.Provide feedback on ways to reduce scrap created within the process by recommending corrective action to reduce or eliminating root cause.Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.Comply and follow all company security policies and procedures.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Works on problems of limited scope under the direction of the area lead and/or supervisorBuilds stable working relationships with operators and peers.Other information:High School Diploma or GED0-2 years' experience with CNC programming and post processing softwareAbility to read, write, and perform basic mathAbility to read, interpret, and understand blueprintsEducation: High School Diploma or GEDGeographical Location: Arizona:TempePhysical Location: Tempe, AZ - Southern AveShift: Shift 1Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1630Full TimeIn our innovative environment, you'll work with cutting-edge technology, leading the way in engineering design and delivering world-class manufacturing services for products that make a real difference in the lives of others.
