Senior Java Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, microservices, cloud-native development, and distributed systems, with a passion for building reliable and scalable enterprise applications. Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Framework. Develop and enhance microservices-based applications following industry best practices. Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Design APIs and define interfaces between distributed system components. Build, optimize, and maintain highly available, scalable backend platforms. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with strong focus on performance and reliability. Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance. Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field. 7+ years of professional software development experience. Strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles. Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices. Experience building scalable, distributed, and highly available enterprise applications. Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Sybase. Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration. Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and application performance optimization. Experience working in Agile development environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Go programming. Python scripting experience. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Experience building cloud-native applications using open-source frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment tools.
