React/Node/AWS Developer

Role: React/Node/AWS DeveloperLocation: RemoteDuration: 12+ MonthsDescription:Hiring 3x engineers with an expertise Node.js, Typescript, and AWS.Typescript - they will be using Typescript heavily, as it will be the primary language for buildingtheir backend services. For this project, there is no UI or front end work - just event processing andAPI layer.AWS - prefer Kubernetes and light containerized applications. Lambda, dynamoDB.Testing - TDD; don't have resources or budget for dedicated testers. Project lends itself to TDD orBDD - event processing. Contributor friendly.Open source project mindset.All backend work - have events that come off Safeco network. Format and process those events andnew generic data structure and API - completely from scratch….exciting but added responsibility.Need strategic thinking.Nice to have - insurance industry but want enterprise backgroundTaking existing data model to this new data model.Executing work - have not seen success solutions with design to last - great documentation andtests. Built with best engineering practices. Ultimately role into more strategic stack.
