This transformation includes revitalized operations, elevated service standards, and a dynamic new culinary leadership team committed to excellence and innovation.THE ROLEChetola Resort is seeking a skilled and motivated Banquet Line Cook to join our newly reimagined culinary team supporting Timberlake's Restaurant and the resort's banquet and event operations. This role is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes for weddings, corporate events, and special functions, ensuring each event reflects Chetola's elevated culinary standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in consistent execution, and brings a collaborative spirit to a team that values craftsmanship, precision, and hospitality.WHAT YOU'LL DOBanquet Culinary ExecutionPrepare and cook banquet menu items according to standardized recipes and event requirementsExecute dishes consistently and efficiently during high-volume banquet serviceEnsure proper seasoning, portioning, and presentation of all dishes leaving the kitchenAssist with setup and breakdown of banquet prep and service stationsProperly store, label, and rotate ingredients following food safety and sanitation standardsTeam CollaborationWork closely with the Executive Chef, Banquet Sous Chef, and culinary team to support smooth event executionCommunicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to coordinate timing and service flowMaintain a positive, professional attitude during fast-paced banquet serviceSupport teammates to ensure the overall success of each eventKitchen & Equipment CareOperate kitchen equipment safely and correctly including grills, fryers, ovens, and steamersMaintain clean, organized, and well-stocked workstationsFollow all health department, sanitation, and food safety requirementsRequirementsATTENTION TO DETAIL IN ACTIONAt Chetola, exceptional events are built on precision.
