Known for strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, they actively contribute to building reliable, scalable applications while fostering a culture of quality across cross-functional teams.Experience and/or knowledge in both QA Engineering and Software DevelopmentProficiency or demonstrated ability to learn professional software development practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, design patterns, object-oriented design, and software design principlesExperience or knowledge of Selenium automation frameworks (Java-based)Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, including ScrumStrong understanding of QA engineering, analysis, and testing conceptsKnowledge of defect tracking tools and processesHighly desired skills: Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systemsFamiliarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD); Gherkin experience is a plusExperience or knowledge of testing web applications and RESTful web services (APIs)Ability to contribute to defining and evolving the Test Pyramid for productsFamiliarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practicesComputer Science degree, relevant coursework, or equivalent software development experienceAdditional strengths: Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsStrong problem identification and resolution skillsContinuous improvement mindset, viewing challenges and failures as opportunities to learn and growAppreciation for sustainable development practices, including maintaining a healthy work-life balanceA proactive QA mindset that assumes products may contain defects and works diligently with the team to identify and resolve them
