Senior Standards Analyst - Remote Eligible

Employer Industry: Energy and UtilitiesWhy Consider This Job Opportunity Salary up to $109,450.00 Competitive and transparent pay with bonus opportunities Excellent insurance package including multiple medical plans, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance Hybrid working environment with flexibility for remote work for eligible positions Generous retirement contributions through a 401(k) savings plan with employer-match benefits and a fully funded pension plan Opportunity to influence national and regional reliability standards and contribute to a sustainable energy futureWhat To Expect (Job Responsibilities) Provide strategic leadership in setting direction for reliability standards development Lead and coordinate working groups in developing, refining, and implementing reliability standards Identify and analyze frequently violated reliability standards to improve compliance and performance Represent the employer's interests with external stakeholders to influence standards development Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide training on compliance and emerging standardsWhat Is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years of relevant experience beyond the experience requirements Six (6) years of NERC reliability standards and/or electricity industry experience In-depth knowledge of power system operations and working knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards Strong communication and facilitation skills Ability to work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and resolve problemsHow To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Six (6) years of general audit and/or compliance-related experience Six (6) years of formal writing experience, including reports and executive summaries Prior experience with NERC-specific Reliability Standards compliance Working knowledge of SPP Criteria, SPP OATT, and FERC regulatory orders of regional significance#Energy #Utilities #ReliabilityStandards #CareerOpportunity #HybridWork #CompetitivePayWe prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
