Veoneer Safety Systems – Saving Lives Every Day. What you'll do: Role of Americas Program & RDE Controller, reports to the Director of Program & RDE Controlling. Position will support the global RDE organization providing financial reporting, forecasting and analysis. Position will have regional responsibility for the following: Work liaise with RDE teams, providing financial guidance and fostering a robust financial acumen within the Engineering community. Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Legal, Purchasing, Operations, and Program management to streamline the most effective and adequate financial processes. Lead the Americas RDE budgeting, forecasting and month end closing process, working in AFIS and closely with R&D leaders to develop accurate and realistic financial plans. Develop and maintain the Americas R&D P&L process. Provide project analysis using HFM and AFIS Manage capex and purchase requisition approvals. Secure Business case reliability with payment terms, amount for tooling, D&D, Piece Price, Lump sum, BOM, volume, FX and conversion costs. Support the validation of the Business Case in ICAN and LCFP for quotation with acquisition teams. Support and control the update of the Business Case in ICAN and LCFP Support process improvements and standardizations to help create efficiencies within the Americas organization. AFIS, ICAN, LCFP are internally developed tools. What you'll bring: 7-10 years of progressive experience and responsibility in cost accounting, controlling and quoting Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business required, MBA preferred Strong computer /software experience, including Excel PowerBi or equivalent Positive mindset and active team player Comfort with ambiguity and strong desire to contribute to growth of the business Flexibility to contribute to operations of the business outside of one’s core responsibilities when necessary Proactive communicator and ability to work with people globally Self-motivated Finance experience in automotive industry HFM experience
