Job Title: Layout EngineerLocation: San Antonio, TexasOnsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location Job Type: Fulltime and ContractJD: Layout EngineerKey ResponsibilitiesRedesign facility layouts to enhance workflow and space utilization.Validate layout proposals to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards.Optimize material flow to improve efficiency and reduce waste.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement layout changes.Prepare and maintain accurate layout documentation using AutoCAD or similar tools.Required Qualifications & SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design tools.Experience with mid-scale layout changes in manufacturing environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Education CriteriaAll engineers must hold a 4-year engineering degree in their respective discipline.Preferred SkillsExperience in facility layout planning within automotive or industrial environments.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Familiarity with material flow optimization.
