Administrator, Web Content Lead
Overview
As Web Content Lead you will oversee the design, deployment and maintenance of web environments, ensuring accessible, high-quality content and a strong user experience. You will collaborate with developers, editors and business units to align web messaging with corporate strategy and roadmaps. You will drive QA, content governance, and usability testing across internal and customer-facing sites. This role offers impact through shaping digital communications and leading cross-functional initiatives. It’s a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced, standards-driven environment.
ResponsibilitiesOversee digital channels, mini-sites and applications to align with corporate strategy and roadmapsCoordinate with website developers and content contributors to meet business needs and identify opportunitiesMaintain and advance web content and integrated applicationsServe as SME and coach business units to ensure consistent messagingLead change processes for internal and customer-facing pages; perform QA and proofreading for accuracy and compliance with standards including Section 508Provide leadership and guidance on website architecture, database design and UI; participate in design, analytics, testing and usability effortsReview web analytics to ensure good design and usabilityMaintain, edit, approve and publish web content with audits; develop test plans and provide feedback; propose solutions based on business analysis
Key requirementsProficient in web content management systems (TeamSite, SharePoint)Strong understanding of usability standards and web analyticsExperience with web development tools (Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, HTML, CSS)Experience managing digital media (web video/audio)Ability to manage multiple projects independently and keep content owners informedExcellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders8 years’ experience in web content management and web project managementBachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)Independent and project-drivenGlobal thinking and cross-domain impact awarenessClear non-technical communication with business ownersTeamSiteSharePointDreamweaver
