Distribution Center Manager

WE OFFER: $63k -$70k annually DOE Medical/ dental/ vision/ life insurance Paid time off and Paid holidays 401(k) with employer match A fun and friendly work environment The Distribution Center Manager oversees the diverse warehouse team and ensures the safe and efficient operation of the AJR Distribution Centers either personally, which includes working alongside all warehouse employee’s or through delegation to subordinates. JOB DUTIES: Follows and ensures compliance of all safety rules and regulations. Ensures all product is wrapped and stored neatly and soil free. Maintains a clean work environment that is organized and productive. Ensures that equipment is clean and in good working order. Communicates deficiencies to the Production Manager. Helps load and unload the plant and depot shuttles. Communicates with the office concerning due dates for product, special customer requests, etc. Reports any discrepancies in a timely manner. WE REQUIRE: Required 3+ years of distribution and/or warehouse management experience. One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Advanced basic computer skills. A valid forklift license. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
