Job Title: E-commerce Specialist (Catalog & Digital Shelf)Location: Minneapolis, MN (4 of 5 days in office)Travel: <25%Department: Ecommerce / DigitalReports To: General ManagerPosition SummaryThe E-commerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the digital shelf across all ecommerce platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Chewy, Shopify, and others. This role ensures that all product listings, brand content, and digital merchandising assets are accurate, compelling, and optimized to drive conversion and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.This position plays a critical role in how the brand is represented online and directly impacts discoverability, conversion, and overall ecommerce performance.This is a full-time position requiring four out of five days in our Minneapolis, MN office.Key Responsibilities1. Digital Shelf ManagementManage and maintain the complete product catalog across all ecommerce platformsEnsure accuracy and completeness of all product data, attributes, and contentManage and optimize product listings, including titles, bullets, descriptions, keywords, and backend attributesOversee image stacks, A+ content, and enhanced brand contentEnsure consistency of branding and messaging across all channels while tailoring for platform-specific best practicesManage and update brand storefronts across platforms2. Conversion OptimizationContinuously improve product detail pages (PDPs) to increase conversion ratesIdentify opportunities based on customer behavior, reviews, and competitive benchmarkingPartner with internal and external teams to develop high-performing content (images, video, copy)Execute content testing and optimization initiatives3. Product Launch ManagementLead catalog setup and content readiness for all new product launchesEnsure listings are fully optimized, accurate, and compliant at launchCoordinate cross-functionally with product development, supply chain, and marketing teamsMaintain launch timelines and ensure readiness across all platforms4. Social & Digital Content SupportSupport execution of product-focused campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and GoogleCoordinate product-driven social and influencer contentEnsure alignment between social messaging and ecommerce product priorities5. Platform & Shopify ManagementServe as internal expert on Shopify product setup and merchandisingMaintain site content, navigation, and product organizationMonitor and resolve listing issues, suppressions, and content gaps across all platformsEnsure listings reflect current product specifications, packaging, and inventory6. Catalog Health & ReportingMonitor catalog health, content completeness, and listing performanceTrack and report on key content-related metrics and issuesIdentify and communicate opportunities to improve digital shelf performanceMonitor and enforce MAP compliance, escalating discrepancies as neededQualifications3+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or marketplace managementHands-on experience managing product listings on Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, and/or ShopifyStrong understanding of ecommerce content best practices, including SEO, conversion-focused copy, and visual merchandisingExperience coordinating content creation (images, video, copy)Familiarity with social media platforms and basic campaign executionStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environmentSuccess MetricsCatalog accuracy and completeness across all platformsImprovement in product page conversion ratesSpeed and quality of product launch executionReduction in listing errors, suppressions, and content gapsConsistency of brand presentation across channelsCompensationCompensation will be commensurate with experiencePlease submit letter of interest and salary requirementsAbout the CompanyNature Gnaws is a leading natural dog chew brand focused on high-quality, responsibly sourced products that promote healthy chewing habits.
