Human Resources Coordinator Location: Urbana, Ohio (On-site) Schedule: Typically Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (alternate schedules may be discussed) Reports to: Senior HR Manager Johnson Welded Products Pay: Hourly, based on experience Johnson Welded Products is part of the Tramec family, with facilities located throughout the United States. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations at our Urbana, Ohio manufacturing facility. This hourly, on-site role supports one plant and works closely with the Senior HR Manager. The ideal candidate will assist with recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions, onboarding, HR administration, and employee support. A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help associates are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Recruiting & OnboardingAssist with full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles at the Urbana facility Screen applicants, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communications Prepare new hire paperwork and coordinate onboarding and orientation HR Operations & AdministrationPrepare and process employee documentation accurately and timely Maintain confidential electronic and physical employee files Support attendance tracking and timekeeping processes Assist with HRIS data entry and reporting (Paylocity experience a plus) Employee SupportRespond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and benefits Assist with employee engagement activities and recognition efforts Provide administrative support for HR projects and other assigned initiatives Qualifications EducationHigh school diploma or GED required Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment required Recruiting experience preferred Skills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and time-management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems a plus Working knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices CertificationsPHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certifications are a plus but not required Additional InformationThis is an hourly, non-exempt position This role supports one manufacturing facility (Urbana, Ohio) Visa sponsorship is not available Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States Why you'll love working here Along with competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, finances, and work-life balance, including: Medical & prescription coverage, including a high-cost specialty drug program (potential for $0 cost) Dental and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Company-matched 401(k) Paid vacation and 10 paid holidays (including your birthday) On-demand pay (any day can be payday) $2,000 attendance bonus $500 employee referral bonus $500 wellness visit drawing Gym membership credit Company-paid uniforms Safety gear allowance: $85 for RX safety glasses and $150 for work boots Short- and long-term disability Tuition reimbursement and internal training opportunities Tramec is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
