Human Resources Manager
Position Summary
The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting, onboarding, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices
Essential Functions
Supervise/perform weekly payroll processing, including but not limited to verification and accuracy of timecard information received, completing necessary processes (e.g., expense reporting, 401K contributions, payroll journal entries, and monthly benefits reporting), recording of fitness and corporate wear expenses, and monthly payroll and benefit accruals. Supervise/provide human resources support to the AVP – Human Resources, including but not limited to maintaining monthly benefit provider invoices, maintaining and updating benefits enrollments as needed, maintain employee personnel files, perform stay and exit interviews, participate in annual open enrollment and employee events. Plan, develop, and implement the overall recruitment program, in conjunction with the AVP and maintain and monitor open positions to maximize recruiting efforts. (R)
Review and complete all new hire paperwork including but not limited to payroll, taxes, benefits and proprietary documents. (R)
Support the continual improvement of the Enterprise culture through existing and new staff training, while serving as a liaison to employee groups and other related training and culture activities. (R)
Develop, maintain and improve documentation related to the HR function, including process and policy documentation, organizational charts, talent acquisition records, employee policies, etc. as published on intranet or via other communications methods.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and state(s) and federal employment legislation and requirements to ensure the Company s compliance.
Administer an effective performance appraisal system.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Knowledge
5 to 7 years’ experience in a human resources department, with 1-3 years in a leadership/manager role.
Strong knowledge with HR laws and regulations.
Experience with an HRIS system.
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to convey information effectively and efficiently.
Proficiency with standard PC programs and functions.
High level of organizational skills necessary for prioritizing and managing varying responsibilities and workloads.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a challenging and diverse environment.
Ability to adapt to changes and adjust priorities with little notice.
Ability to learn new concepts/skills to continually expand knowledge base and advance with industry changes.
Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems by generating, evaluating, and implementing solutions.
Willingness to work and seek out new work challenges.

Pay: $65,428.00 - $81,786.00 per year
