Whether you aspire to be a leader or a technical expert, this position will set you up for success in the future.Primary ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a motivated individual to work as part of our operational excellence team as a test engineer responsible for the test equipment in a given assembly area. This will involve providing support to manufacturing in test failure analysis and test process improvements including equipment hardware and software enhancements. Key responsibilities include:Monitor and report on the performance of test equipment for a given Business UnitTrain assembly and technical support staff on troubleshooting product issues and root cause evaluationImplement changes to equipment hardware and software to realize improvements in efficiency, coverage, or to respond to product design evolutionReview test coverage to ensure product quality requirements are adhered toParticipate in Business Unit team activities (meetings, problem solving exercises, line support issues, management updates)Develop and refine procedures for calibration checks, adjustments, and preventive maintenance work on various test equipmentRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree (in an engineering field)Good facilitation and communication skillsThe ability to work in a team environmentFamiliarity with electrical circuits, systems, serial communications, and functional test systemsDemonstrated programming experience (I.E.
