This role provides executive-level financial leadership while maintaining oversight of accounting operations. The CFO partners closely with the leadership team to drive profitability, manage cash flow, support growth initiatives, and ensure financial discipline across the organization. This is a hands-on executive role requiring both strategic insight and operational oversight appropriate for a mid-sized organization.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with growth objectivesPartner with leadership team on business planning, capital allocation, and investment decisionsProvide financial modeling and analysis for new initiatives, pricing strategy, and expansion opportunitiesFinancial Planning & AnalysisDevelop rolling forecasts and scenario planning modelsAnalyze profitability by product line, customer, and departmentWork with Operations to create/review costing systemProvide variance analysis with actionable insightsCash Flow & Capital ManagementOversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity planningOversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing strategiesEvaluate capital expenditures and ROIOversight of Accounting OperationsProvide leadership to accounting functionsManage Month-end close, financial statement preparation and reportingReview and analyze P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsMaintain strong internal controls and complianceOversee tax coordination with external CPA firmRisk Management & ComplianceOversee insurance programs and risk mitigation strategiesMonitor regulatory and tax complianceReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Supervisory Responsibility: Provide leadership and oversight of the Finance and Accounting department.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, MBA preferred)10+ years of progressive financial experience, 7+ years in a leadership capacityExperience in $25M–$75M revenue company, preferredExperience managing accounting teamsStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience working directly with banks and external advisorsAdditional Details Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.
