Endur DeveloperJuno Beach, FL (onsite)We are building out the OpenLink development team and looking for a candidate to join the firm’s middle-office development team. The successful candidate will work with OpenLink Endur, a third-party application, and the in-house processes that have been built around it. Responsibilities will include building and expanding data access to and from Endur, develop tasks, scripts and workflow to extend the functionality of existing applications. Additional responsibilities will include Openlink Endur release management, configuration, testing and production troubleshooting.ResponsibilitiesDesign and development of applications following Agile and continuous delivery practicesExtend Endur functionality to support middle and back office processesCreate or enhance new and existing OpenLink Scripts/Tasks or Workflows to meet specific business requirementsCreate or enhance new and existing OpenLink Scripts/Tasks or Workflows for publishing or receiving data from in house applicationsHelp with the on boarding of new products for Portfolio managersProvide level three support for Openlink and processes developed by the groupParticipate in capacity planning and performance/throughput analysisConsuming and publish transaction data in AVRO over KafkaAutomation of system maintenance tasks, end-of-day processing jobs, data integrity checks and bulk data loads/extractsRelease planning and deploymentBuild strong relationships with support and end-users/clientsFocus on client service and deliveryRequired skill/experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience of working in global financial organisation is essentialAdvanced proficiency in with OpenLink Endur/Findur is essentialExperience with GIT and JIRA is essentialExperience with Oracle and SQL is essentialAdvanced proficiency in C# and the ability to write supportable, readable C# code is essentialBackground in another language/scripting such as Java/Angular/PowerShell is desirableAbility to support Windows environmentsMinimum 5+ years support an OpenLink Endur/Findur implementation including:Connex Gateways and SchedulersJBroker and ConnexAPM/RTPE services (preferably APM)OpenLink’s GridOpen Components code based deploymentsOracle (sql experience is a must)ADSCandidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following competenciesTroubleshooting within an Endur environment for failed simulationsExperience in configuring and running end of day tasksExperience in adding new templates, tickers, curve and grid point definitions, new portfolios etc.Experience in diagnosing and resolving Oracle issues such as query plan flipsPreference given to those with monitoring setup and configuration using ITRS Geneos or Data DogMust have previous experience supporting business facing applicationsSoft Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environmentDelivery oriented – understand the important of delivering enhancements to users in an agile way.Detail oriented - Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of workAble to communicate complex problemsHighly analytical with excellent problem solving abilitySelf-starter with ability to quickly pick up new concepts and technologies
