This is an ITAR position, hence need only US Citizens. No other visa is allowed. ID – 525362Title – Embedded Software VerificationLocation – Rockford, Illinois (onsite only)Experience – 7 to 10 years Job Description:Primary Responsibilities:7+ years experience as Embedded Software Verification engineer.Aerospace experience is requiredPrimary Responsible for getting executed below verification activities by the team of 5 to 10 EngineersThoroughly analyze software requirements to develop comprehensive test cases that cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the systemDesign and document detailed software verification test cases, including input parameters, expected outputs, and coverage analysis to ensure thorough testing.Execute test cases on the target hardware and software platforms, meticulously documenting test results and identifying any deviations from expected behavior.Identify, report, and track software defects discovered during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve issues promptlyPerform code coverage analysis to ensure adequate testing of all software components and paths, meeting DO-178B/C standardsPrepare detailed software verification reports that document test results, including pass/fail criteria, deviations, and justifications for acceptanceMaintain traceability between requirements, design documents, test cases, and test results to demonstrate compliance with certification standards.Co-ordinate and Collaborate with System and software development teams The expected salary range for this position is between $90 K - $120 K annually.
