The APN will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up to children hospitalized on the inpatient units. Regular collaboration with family members and guardians.Shift/Schedule:\t8a-4p M-FQualifications:\t2-3 years of APN experience\tRN License\tAPN License\tPMHNP Certification\tCDS and DEA\tBLS Essential Functions:\tProvision of psychiatric treatment in all appropriate modalities as indicated and needed\tParticipation, as a core member, in the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings related to the Program and the cases\tProvider will support the Psychiatric Residency Program \tEnsure that all Medical Center personnel policies and procedures are followed\tProviding timely comprehensive patient evaluation; timely completion of treatment planning (according to medical record/hospital and regulatory standards) and implementation within an integrated theoretical framework; \tParticipation in the educational programs of the department as required\tAssist and support the program's Nurse Manager in the achievement of Department and Medical Center operational and clinical objectives, including length of stay and other quality measures\tIdentification of issues and formulation of recommendations concerning the improvement of the quality of care rendered to patients\tProvide input concerning the performance and evaluation of the Program's staff \tTimely completion of Medical Center documentation requirements for all patients\tBe available in a timely manner, at conferences and/or via telephone, to discuss information pertinent to patients\tParticipate in the credentialing process when requested\tCarry out such additional duties as may be assigned by the Chairman of the Department of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry, the Vice President of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry and/or the Chief Medical Officer
