Speech Language Pathology Assistant (26-27)
Adhere to Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and State Board Rule related to students with disabilities, and educational strategies for students with communication deficits.Follow state board rule and federal law in evaluating and providing speech and language services to students.Maintain documentation for state and federal compliance in the evaluation and services of students with speech and language needs.Monitor speech and language student progress based on IEP goals and objectives on IEPs.Effective writing skills, organization, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Certification or licensure in speech-language pathology assistant/communication disorders is required.
