Cloud Software Developer Position Tactibit Technologies provides innovative information technology, cybersecurity, and cloud support services to the Federal Government. We support some of the nation's most critical and demanding projects including satellite operations, critical infrastructure, and search and rescue. You will work closely with application developers to transition legacy products and applications to the cloud and perform CI/CD using AWS cloud services. You should possess experience implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting AWS cloud services and a desire to work with satellite data and products for the public and government.Cloud Software Developer Responsibilities Are: Design and build serverless applications and infrastructure as code in the cloud following development standards and best practicesDevelop tools, architecture components, and APIs in support of scientific application deploymentCollaborate with software developers, scientists, system/network administrators, and other technical experts to automate cloud deployments and manage CI/CD pipelinesPerform code reviews, refactoring, and source code repository maintenanceFunction in a DevOps environment supporting development, testing, operations, and troubleshooting in a mission-critical environmentSupport security testing, hardening, and assessments to meet strict compliance and operational security requirementsCloud Software Developer Requirements Are: 4+ years of software development experience2+ years of experience of using AWS cloud servicesExperience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, SQS, SNS, API Gateway and RDSExperience with running containerized applications in the cloudExperience with YAML, JSON, and XMLExperience with version control systems (preferably Git) and issue tracking software (preferably Jira)Familiarity with modern DevOps principles, practices, methods, and tools.Experience with Linux-based operating systemsGood familiarity of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocolsStrong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressureBS degree in Computer Science or other related areaMust be able to pass a full background investigation and obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facilityDesired Qualifications Are: Experience with Federal government environments and concepts including FedRAMP, NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-53 security controlsExperience with containerized workloads using Docker or KubernetesIndustry certifications such as AWS certifications, CCSP, Cloud+, Security+, and GCLD
