The Macquarie Insurance Facility team is an aggregated insurance buying programme that delivers portfolio benefits to Macquarie and third‑party private equity and infrastructure portfolio companies.
Through its scale and buying power it has delivered savings in excess of $215 million to participating businesses and has now been accessed by over 40 private equity firms.
Its combined 1,000 companies and over $1.8 bn of premium spend make it one of the largest buyers of insurance in the world.

What role will you play?You will regularly interact with brokers and key insurance markets and be responsible for embedding and developing relationships with portfolio companies and prospects, helping to optimise the usage and delivery of insurance solutions for Macquarie and third‑party businesses.
Your responsibilities include overseeing the asset portfolio and managing renewal processes, articulating our offerings and market value to brokers and insurers, attending meetings and events to boost the franchise, and meeting with portfolio companies to understand their insurance requirements and any changes that may affect insurances.
Qualifications2‑5 years of experience in an insurance role liaising with stakeholders involved in insurance transactions
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships and concisely articulate our offerings and market value to brokers and insurers
Enthusiasm to work proactively within a dynamic, team‑orientated environment
Desire to work in a role that affords an unusual breadth of exposure, spanning the whole insurance ecosystem and every type of insurance
