Regional Sales Manager, Small Account

The Regional Sales Manager, Small Accounts (Commercial Aviation) will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across the global segment for our suite of aviation software solutions. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on leadership of a team of sales professionals, leveraging deep relationships within airlines, operators, OEMs, and aviation service providers. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic and multicultural environment, and is passionate about advancing aviation technology that enhances safety, efficiency, and performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a global segment sales strategy to achieve or exceed annual revenue and growth targetsManage and coach a team of account executives to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with commercial airlinesAttract, retain, and enable a team of experienced sales professionalsManage and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retentionCollaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to tailor messaging and product positioning for segmentRepresent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings throughout the regionMaintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility of the assigned region through CRM toolsProvide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform regional and global sales strategiesPartner with channel and distribution partners as appropriate to expand market reachBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field10+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quota in enterprise or technical software sales5+ years of managing both seasoned and new sales professionalsExperience selling into the aviation or aerospace industryStrong business acumen and consultative selling skillsAbility to travel globally up to 50%Preferred Qualifications:Experience selling into aviation buying centers with aviation data, flight planning, or other operational software solutionsExisting relationships with key aviation stakeholders in EuropeKnowledge of regulatory environments, procurement processes, and business customsFamiliarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and SaaS sales modelsPilot or aviation enthusiastAbout Jeppesen ForeFlight:Jeppesen ForeFlight is a leading provider of innovative aviation software solutions, serving the Commercial, Business, Military, and General Aviation sectors globally.
