Administrative Specialist III

Position SummarySupports the DOE OST Human Reliability Program (HRP) by executing mission-critical duties aligned with occupational health, psychological evaluation, emergency response, and administrative operations to ensure personnel reliability, safety, and compliance with federal regulations. Key Responsibilities- Perform initial, annual, and special HRP evaluations or services appropriate to the role - Document findings and prepare reports in accordance with DOE requirements - Coordinate with SOMD, Program Manager, and multidisciplinary teams - Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 712, OSHA standards, and Privacy Act requirements - Maintain readiness of equipment, records, and systems - Participate in training, drills, and emergency response activities - Identify and report conditions impacting safety, reliability, or mission readiness - Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of two (2) years administrative experience for higher-level roles - Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and office systems - Experience supporting scheduling, reporting, document control, and coordination - Ability to perform administrative functions in a federal or regulated environment - Eligibility for DOE access authorization (L clearance level) Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or other federal programs - Familiarity with Human Reliability Program (HRP) requirements - Experience in safety-sensitive or high-reliability environments - Advanced certifications or specialized training relevant to the role
