Learn more at www.devo.com.About The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the growth of our Agentic AI solution, primarily focused in the cybersecurity and IT markets. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers, acting as the first point of contact in the business development process.You will work closely with Marketing and Sales as you actively prospect, qualify and educate target individuals on the value of our AI-driven solutions, ultimately booking qualified meetings for the Account Executives team.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and qualify prospective customers within target accounts and industriesConduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreachEngage business and technical stakeholders in the IT and cybersecurity market to understand their challenges and assess fitClearly articulate the value proposition of an Agentic AI solution for established and emerging use casesSchedule and book qualified discovery meetings and product demos for the sales teamInvite prospects and customers to company-hosted events, webinars, and field marketing activitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect activity in CRM systemsCollaborate with Marketing on messaging, campaigns, and event follow-upMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity, meeting, and pipeline targetsContinuously refine outreach strategies based on feedback, performance data, and market trendsQualifications1–3+ years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar outbound sales roleExperience with outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedInStrong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiencesProven ability to qualify prospects and book meetings in a B2B environmentComfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven roleFamiliarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platformsExperience selling or prospecting into IT, cybersecurity, or SaaS markets a plusFamiliarity with IT Security concepts such as threat detection, automation, or SOC workflows beneficialExperience supporting events, webinars, or account-based marketing initiativesBonus! Any exposure selling AI, machine learning, or automation-based productsSkills & AttributesCurious and eager to learn complex technical productsResilient and persistent with strong follow-up disciplineHighly organized with excellent time-management skillsCoachable, collaborative, and open to feedbackComfortable handling objections and navigating gatekeepers
