Hi-Lo Driver - Day Shift - Load & Unload Trucks - Good Driving Record Required
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Hi-Lo Driver working the day shift! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty forklifts to efficiently load, unload, and transport goods within our warehouse. Your excellent driving record and mechanical aptitude will ensure smooth operations as you support warehouse distribution, order picking, and shipping & receiving processes. This position offers a fast-paced environment where your skills in heavy equipment operation and materials handling will keep our supply chain moving seamlessly.
Duties
Safely operate Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload shipments.
Perform order picking to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation.
Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and warehouse tools, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Assist with warehouse management system updates to track inventory movement and stock levels.
Support materials handling activities such as heavy lifting, stacking pallets, and organizing warehouse storage areas.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain a safe working environment and optimize workflow.
Experience
Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and have a valid Driver's License.
Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes in a warehouse or construction setting.
Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, materials handling, and shipping & receiving procedures.
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety practices.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
