To achieve this level of excellence, we:Put our consumers firstRespect and care for our co-workersOperate with integrity and sound business principlesOUR VALUESCOMPASSION for our consumers, co-workers, and communitiesEXCELLENCE in service provisionHOPE for a brighter futurePOSITION SUMMARYThe Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PR) Worker works directly with mental health consumers by assisting persons with functional disabilities resulting from mental illness to develop, enhance, and/or retain psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal adjustment, and/or independent living skills.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree with academic concentration in an area relevant to the position, ORAn associate's degree and 1 year work experience in mental health direct service, ORA Certified Peer Specialist Certificate and 1 additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service, ORA high school diploma or equivalency and two years of work experience in human services, which must include one year of mental health direct care experience.Certifications & Licenses* Must obtain Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification within 2 years.* Valid driver's license.Dickinson Center, Inc. has provided a continuum of mental health, intellectual disability, and Children's Prevention services in Northwestern Pennsylvania since 1958.
