Controls Engineer
We're looking for a Controls Engineer for our "C" shift working Friday and Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM and Sunday and Monday from 6 PM to 6 AM. You'll also need the flexibility to cover other shifts on occasion for vacation, illness, workflow, etc. Relocation assistance may be available to the right candidates. The Job Reporting to the Controls Engineering Manager, you will join a team of three Controls Engineers one working each shift. During your shift, you will serve as the go-to troubleshooter and provide support to the Maintenance team, assisting and instructing technicians as needed. We are looking for a "get-the-job-done" professional who can interact well with Maintenance Technicians, as well as interface with the Production and Quality teams, and who is readily available to answer questions. Additionally, you will advise your supervisor of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, employee safety or customer satisfaction results. Your Qualifications To be a good fit for the Controls Engineer opportunity, you will have:
Proven experience in PLC logic and programming with any of the following:Allen Bradley (highly preferred), Siemens, Modicon, GE Fanuc, AutomationDirect, Mitsubishi, Omron, Aromat, Toshiba, HMI, OR
SCADA programming and configuration of software packages including Siemens SCL and Ladder, Rockwell Structured Text and Ladder, Wonderware, Intellution, GE Cimplicity, Ci-Tech, Iconics, US Data, etc.
A 2-year college education with at least 1 year of experience in controls and assembly operations required, (4-year college degrees and 2 years of experience preferred, OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. A 4-year college education and at least 2 years of experience in controls and assembly operations, OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
PLC understanding and programming (write, modify and maintain)
HMI understanding and programming (create, modify and maintain)
Good mechanical/pneumatic/electrical skills, including proven troubleshooting abilities
Excellent leadership abilities and the ability to coach and mentor others

Pay: $47,003.64 - $110,000.00 per year
