If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Electrical Test Technician in Fontana, CA.Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Electrical Test Technician is responsible for completing electrical testing of products during the manufacturing process based on established testing procedures.What a typical day looks like:Follow AC/DC schematics and wiring diagrams to do testing of main electrical distribution AC/DC systemsPerform testing on various systems including HVAC system, lighting, receptacles, fans, fire alarm systems, battery system, and meggering of cablesWork closely with engineering and production team members to ensure accurate, efficient and timely execution of required testing workBe able to troubleshoot assembly, wiring and testing problemsDrafts detailed technical reports to present findings; based on findings, recommends modifications needed to correct production problemsPerform other related duties as assignedThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.2+ years’ experience in electrical testing or related fieldKnowledge in testing of three phase AC and DC control circuits.Good working knowledge of standard electrical testing and measuring equipmentKnowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures and NEC CodesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss product flaws in a constructive and positive manner.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals.What the physical requirements are:Periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computerMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a timeMust be able to traverse production facility to complete testingMust wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floorGB02SiteFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
