Nursing Instructor - Beloit

Fort Hays Tech | North Central is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Practical Nursing (PN) Instructor to join our Nursing Department. This position is responsible for providing high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction that prepares students for successful careers as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). The ideal candidate is passionate about nursing education, committed to student success, and able to foster a positive and engaging learning environment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Instruction & Student LearningPlan, deliver, and evaluate classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiencesSupervise and evaluate student performance in clinical settingsMaintain accurate student attendance, grade, and performance recordsProvide academic guidance, support, and remediation to students as neededPromote professional, ethical, and legal nursing standardsDevelop clinical assignments aligned with course objectives and student skill levels Program & Department SupportParticipate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluationCollaborate with faculty and clinical partners to support student learning experiencesParticipate in faculty meetings, committees, and departmental activitiesAssist in maintaining an organized and positive learning environmentSupport program accreditation standards and institutional goals Professional ResponsibilitiesMaintain current nursing knowledge and clinical competencyParticipate in continuing education and professional development opportunitiesMaintain professional relationships with students, faculty, staff, and clinical agenciesServe as a positive role model for students and colleagues QUALIFICATIONS EducationAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) preferredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred ExperiencePrevious teaching experience preferredMinimum of two years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
