We believe in improving oral health through our dental benefit programs and through our Foundation, which develops and supports projects and organizations that improve access to oral healthcare and oral health education.We're looking for a Sales Executive who can:Target and develop accounts; initiate contact by phone, appointments or correspondence with appropriate client/prospect representative (i.e., broker, consultant, Director of Employee Benefits, V.P. of Human Resources, etc.).Strengthen client/broker/consultant relationships; continuous awareness of marketplace/competitor products and pricing through personal visits, calls, etc.Achieve and exceed sales quota; offer and present DDIL value-added products and services.Regular interface with Underwriting and other internal partners.Effectively manage RFP quote activityPrepare annual business plan.Meet or exceed weekly strategic broker appointments with expectations established by the VP/Director, Sales & Service.Meet monthly reporting requirements of new sales, broker activity.Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:5 years of experience within the employee benefits industryMust hold a current Insurance Producer's license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation or acquire one within a specified period of time following date of hireExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCollege degree preferredStrong negotiating skillsWorking knowledge of computers and standard software packagesSuperior strategic and interpersonal skills; strong work ethic and commitment to excellence; team player.Why Should You Apply?Free dental for employees and their dependentsCompetitive benefits: free vision, life, STD/LTD for employees/medical options for many budgets/401k and company matchGenerous PTO program; 11 paid holidays per calendar yearGreat people and cultureHealthy work/life balanceConveniently located off of I-88Hiring pay range is $65-70k base + commissionDelta Dental of Illinois is an equal opportunity employer.
