Electrical Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer with strong LabVIEW programming expertise to support the development and testing of therapeutic intravascular ultrasound capital equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, hands-on test engineering experience, and the ability to develop and troubleshoot LabVIEW-based automated test applications in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical and electromechanical testing of medical device capital equipment.Develop, implement, and improve electrical test processes and procedures.Design, develop, debug, and maintain LabVIEW-based test applications.Develop test software using LabVIEW and/or C programming.Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and electromechanical test systems and equipment.Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective solutions.Perform coding, debugging, code reviews, and software documentation.Develop and maintain test procedures, technical documentation, and test reports.Support test engineering and software development activities within a regulated environment.Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering, Software Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.Support validation and continuous improvement of test systems and processes.Ensure test activities and documentation follow applicable quality and regulatory requirements.Provide technical support for automated test equipment and LabVIEW development throughout the product lifecycle.Utilize Python, when applicable, for test automation, data analysis, and engineering activities.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Strong professional experience with LabVIEW programming – KEY REQUIREMENT.Experience in Test Engineering, electrical testing, or automated test development.Strong electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting experience.Experience developing code for electrical or electromechanical applications.Proficiency with LabVIEW and/or C programming.Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably within the medical device industry.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Python programming.Experience developing automated electrical test systems.Experience working with medical devices or other highly regulated products.Familiarity with software development practices, code reviews, and technical documentation.
