BIC Systems CoordinatorCooley is seeking a BIC Systems Coordinator to join the Business Intake and Conflicts team.Position summary: Under the supervision of Director, BIC Operations & Projects and working alongside the BIC Systems Manager, the BIC Systems Coordinator supports the development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of workflows, forms, and platform functionality within the BIC technology ecosystem, primarily IntApp Open and related integrated systems. This role is execution focused and designed to support BIC's expanding role as a firmwide platform owner, enabling other departments (e.g., AML, Information Governance, Audit Committee, IP/Patent/TM Operations, Pro Bono) to safely and consistently leverage BIC owned workflows. The position emphasizes build support, QA/testing, and operational execution, allowing senior resources to focus on design, architecture, and risk oversight. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Position responsibilities:Platform Build & Configuration:Create, edit, and maintain forms, workflows, notifications, and supporting configuration within IntApp Open and IntApp Wall Builder under direction of the Director, BIC Operations & ProjectsImplement approved changes for departmental and firmwide workflowsApply standardized patterns and templates to new builds to ensure consistency and scalabilityQuality Assurance & Testing:Perform functional and regression testing on new and modified workflowsExecute test plans, document results, and track defects through resolutionValidate integrations, edge cases, permissions, and data flow impacts before promotion to ProductionOperational Support:Support deployment and post release validation of platform changesAssist with troubleshooting application behavior and configuration related issuesMaintain operational documentation, quick reference guides, and release notesCross Department EnablementSupport other business professional groups building on BIC owned platform componentsEnsure builds and configurations adhere to BIC standards for risk management, data integrity, and auditabilityEscalate design, governance, or risk concerns to the BIC Systems ManagerContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to standardize or streamline repeatable platform workParticipate in upgrade cycles, testing windows, and platform maintenance activitiesBuild knowledge of BIC business processes, risk frameworks, and downstream dependenciesAll other duties as assigned or requiredSkills and experience:Required:After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applicationsAbility to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required2+ years of relevant experience (e.g., systems, operations, or business technology support role, or equivalent)Familiarity with workflow platforms, form builders, and/or enterprise applicationsPreferred:Bachelor's degreePrior experience with IntApp Open or similar workflow platformsFamiliarity with QA methodologies or structured testing practicesPrior experience with IntApp Wall Builder or similar access control systemsExposure to legal, compliance, or risk oriented business environmentsComfort working with structured data, validations, and system dependenciesComfort with data analyticsCompetencies:Entrepreneurial by natureStrong attention to detail and structured approach to testing and executionAbility to follow established standards while learning complex systemsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills with ability to facilitate and solve problemsAbility to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities often under tight timelinesAbility to drive projects to completion and achieve goalsStrong judgmentTeam-player with collaborative spiritUnwavering ability to handle and maintain confidentiality regarding firm information, projects, client dataHigh level of professionalism at all timesProactive, analytical mindsetStrong written and verbal communication skillsEffective presentation skillsCooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices. EOE.The expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $30.50 - $45.00 ($63,440.00 - $93,600.00 annually).
