About the RolePython Web Developer (UI & API) with AKS experienceLocation – Minneapolis, MNStrong Python development for web and data-driven applications.ResponsibilitiesAbility to design layouts, filters, tabular views, and summaries driven by live database queries.Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.Experience with request validation, authentication middleware, error handling.Strong SQL skills; ability to write and optimize queries on relational and analytical databases.Experience connecting Python applications to databases using SQLAlchemy, native drivers, or ORMs.Ability to work with existing schemas, views, and data models.Experience handling concurrent updates, data validation, and controlled write operations.Experience reading and writing PySpark DataFrames.Familiarity running Spark jobs on cloud-based or managed data platforms.Experience deploying and operating applications on Azure (AWS/GCP acceptable).Experience with cloud databases, secret management, IAM, and private networking.Experience implementing SSO (Entra ID, OAuth2, SAML) and role-based access control (RBAC) in Python applications.Experience writing Dockerfiles for reproducible Python applications.Experience deploying applications to a managed Kubernetes cluster.Experience applying application security best practices and designing resilient, fault‑tolerant Python services.Required SkillsStrong Python development, SQL skills, experience with REST APIs, and cloud deployment.Preferred SkillsExperience with PySpark, Docker, and Kubernetes.
