Join our vibrant team in La Chaux-de-Fonds as a Quality Performance & KPIs Intern for 6 months and be part of something extraordinary!At the core of operational excellence, this internship offers a unique opportunity to enhance the visibility and management of quality performance across the movement and watch manufacturing plants, as well as return flows from the market.Your mission will be to define, structure, and automatize key quality performance indicators across the full value chain, enabling a clearer understanding of production and field quality, faster detection of deviations, and more effective decision-making.ResponsibilitiesDefine and structure quality performance KPIs across the value chainIdentify and align with stakeholders on key quality KPIs across movement manufacturing, watch assembly, and market returns (e.g., FPY, defect rate, rework, scrap, return rate)Standardise KPI definitions, calculation methodologies, and data sourcesEnsure consistency and alignment of KPIs across departments and systemsDevelop and implement quality performance monitoring toolsDesign and develop dashboards (Power BI/Excel) to monitor quality performance across production and returnsIntegrate and structure data from ERP, production systems, and after-sales/returns databasesEnsure data accuracy, refresh frequency, and usability of reporting toolsImprove data reliability and governance for qualityIdentify data inconsistencies and support data cleansing initiativesContribute to improving data structure and data quality across systemsSupport the implementation of best practices in data governance related to qualitySupport preparation of the quarterly Quality Committee deck, consolidating key KPIs across movement, watch manufacturing, and market returnsHighlight key trends, deviations, and areas of concernStructure and synthesize insights to support decision-making by senior stakeholdersQualificationsPrevious academic or internship experience in quality, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis is a strong advantageHolding or completing a Master's degree from a top-tier engineering school in Data, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or a related fieldKnowledge of quality and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and quality KPIs (FPY, defect rate, rework, scrap)Strong Excel and data analysis skillsFluency in English and FrenchBenefitsEntrepreneurship – Take ownership, act with agility, and dare to challenge the status quoPerformance – Strive for excellence and deliver with impact, precision, and passionInnovation – Embrace creativity and continuously push boundaries to shape the futureCare – Look after people, clients, and the planet, with respect and responsibilityDo you think there is even more to discover in this role?
