Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Two contract Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are sought for the summer term—one focused on delivering direct services to students, and the other specializing in assessments for pre-kindergarten children. If you bring dedication, creativity, and expertise in supporting young learners, this opportunity could be the next step in your career.Desired qualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyValid SLP-CCC certification, or eligibilityCalifornia licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)Experience providing speech services in pediatric or school settingsStrong assessment skills for early childhood, particularly with PK populations (for the assessment role)Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teamsExcellent verbal and written communicationResponsibilities:Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, targeting individual and group needs (direct service role)Conduct comprehensive pre-kindergarten speech and language assessments and develop clear evaluation reports (assessment role)Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to optimize student outcomesCreate individualized therapy plans and maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progressSupport the development and implementation of IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelinesParticipate in team meetings and professional development throughout the contract periodYou'll benefit from a supportive atmosphere where making a measurable difference is a daily reality.
