Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient/Clinic Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time + night & weekend call on a rotating basis Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric Location: Richmond, VA Stipends: Only mileage is reimbursed for local providers Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling (optional if applicable) Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients in various settings Perform and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) Supervise 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) Collaborate with other cardiologists and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications Board-Certified in Cardiology Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified for Advanced Heart Failure ACLS Certification Active VA license Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and LVAD experience DEA license Working Hours Monday-Friday, full-time schedule Night and weekend call on a rotating basis Skills Proficiency with EPIC EMR system Strong clinical skills in non-invasive cardiology Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Leadership and supervisory experience with healthcare providers
