Junior Recruiter- ContractPay Rate: $28-30/ per hr.Location: New York, NY 10016Job SummaryWe are seeking a driven and motivated Junior Recruiter to join our fast-paced, agency-style recruiting team focused on hospitality staffing. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of recruiting or hospitality experience who is eager to grow in a performance-driven, high-volume environment.As a Junior Recruiter, you will play a key role in sourcing, screening, and placing candidates across a variety of hospitality roles, including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and event personnel. You will work closely with internal leadership and clients to meet urgent staffing needs while building strong candidate pipelines. This position offers the opportunity to develop both recruiting and client-facing skills in a metrics-driven setting.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, recruit, and screen candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreachManage a high volume of open roles and candidate pipelines simultaneouslyConduct phone screenings and assess candidate qualifications, availability, and fit for client needsCoordinate interviews and facilitate the hiring process from initial contact through placementMaintain consistent communication with candidates to ensure engagement and a positive experiencePartner with internal teams to understand client staffing needs, timelines, and prioritiesSupport and participate in hiring events, open houses, and job fairsTrack recruiting activity, candidate flow, and placements within the applicant tracking system (ATS)Meet or exceed weekly and monthly recruiting metrics, including submittals, placements, and fill ratesAssist with onboarding and ensure all compliance documentation is completed accurately and on timeQualifications1–2 years of recruiting experience or hospitality industry experience preferredBackground in hospitality (restaurants, catering, events, hotels) is a strong plusStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-service mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environmentHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughComfortable working toward individual and team performance goalsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ATS experience is a plusPositive, competitive, and team-oriented attitudeEducationBachelor’s degree preferred, but not requiredPreferred SkillsExperience recruiting for hourly, event-based, or seasonal rolesFamiliarity with sourcing tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boardsAbility to quickly evaluate candidate fit and make placement decisionsStrong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing demandsWork EnvironmentAgency-style recruiting environment with a strong focus on performance and resultsHigh-volume staffing across hospitality and event-based rolesCollaborative team setting with opportunities for growth and advancementWhy Join Us?Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced staffing agency environmentExposure to both recruiting and client-facing responsibilitiesPerformance-driven culture with advancement opportunitiesHands-on experience in high-volume hiring and workforce managementEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in the workplace.
