Sanitation Associate

What You'll DO Wash and sanitize food processing equipment, bread trays, food carts & caddies, trash bins and all other types of day-to-day equipment Set-downs, washing, sanitizing, rinsing, and set-ups can include different types of machinery used at the facility – Ilapaks, Omni Sealers, ProSeals, Denesters, Depositors, conveyors, metal detectors, and others (training provided) Dispose of food waste, garbage, and recycling daily throughout the building, abiding by the company “Green Waste” recycling program Maintain a food safety environment, complying with Revolution Foods, State and Federal policies Adhere to GMP by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment (dry floors, proper knife storage, etc.) Use proper protective clothing/equipment (safety glasses, masks, wash gloves, boots, aprons, etc.) Sweep and mop floors and stairs Refill chemical containers and use chemicals including degreaser, dish soap, bleach, sanitizer, etc. Report potential issues to management Keep all cleaning equipment clean and sanitized Follow the master sanitation chart at all times Unload equipment in the dock including ice caddies, milk coolers, cambros, sheet pans, carts, racks, milk containers, and others Perform janitorial and deep cleaning of office spaces, production workspaces, dock locations, and warehouse locations Perform physical work constantly; on your feet 99% of the time Perform all other duties assignedWhat You Bring Ability to communicate and read labels in English Knowledge of SOPs in manufacturing facility preferred Able to work with others or independently Knowledge of safe and proper sanitation procedures in a manufacturing setting highly preferred Ability to stand frequently Ability to lift 50 pounds and physically perform requirements of the position Ability to bend, twist, and perform hand and arm motions Ability to work mornings, afternoons and evenings Experience in cleaning facilities High school diploma or GED certificate preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience in a time-sensitive environment preferred Experience with manual pallet jacks preferredWorking Conditions Ability to work in refrigerated environments and hot temperatures when working in the dock Working in wet environments is expected, especially in the washroom and dock Dock temperatures may exceed 90°F in summer and can drop to 30°F during colder or rainy seasons Appropriate PPE will be provided Weekend work may be required due to projects, school holidays, and closuresShift & HoursSchedules vary by shift, with start times between approximately 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and corresponding end times between 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM. Flexibility may occasionally be required to support production needs, operational issues, or special projects.Base Pay $17.11 USD per hour
