EMCS serves public and private clients in a variety of small and large-scale projects. The firm was founded in 1983 and has offices in Milwaukee, Wausau, and Madison, Wisconsin; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Bergland, Michigan.EMCS is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support project pursuits, business development, and firmwide communication efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative professional who enjoys collaborating with technical teams, producing high-quality graphics, and contributing to both external communications and public involvement initiatives.ResponsibilitiesStudy RFPs and work closely with engineering staff to develop, design, and produce compelling proposals, presentations, and interview materialsProvide writing, editing, and graphic design support for marketing, communications, and internal initiativesPrepare graphics, exhibits, handouts, and presentations to support public involvement efforts, including public information meetings and community outreachCurate and expand marketing information systems (proposal libraries, resumes, project descriptions, photography, graphics, etc.)Track leads, relationships, and opportunities in the firm’s CRM database Creatively administer the firm’s website, social media channels, and content marketing effortsTake the lead on special projects to support business development and employee engagement (i.e. holiday cards, awards nominations, campaigns, speaking engagements, team building, etc.)BenefitsPosition salary will be commensurate with experienceFull-time position with flexible work hours and hybrid optionsCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) with matchStrong commitment to professional development, mentorship, and community involvementRequirementsAssociates or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field3+ years of professional marketing experience (AEC experience desired)Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (PC platform), including InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorExperienced in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) administration (Deltek preferred)Proficient in website and social media content development and administrationSelf-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple project tasksStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong business writing and editing skillsExceptional attention to detailEMCS is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer
