Dump Truck Driver/Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, as well as experience in various construction-related tasks. Duties Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and dozers. Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including quantities and delivery locations. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery on construction sites. Assist in the operation of additional equipment like graders, water trucks, tankers, and horizontal drilling machinery as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, tankers, and paving machinery. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site managers. Strong problem-solving skills to address any mechanical issues that may arise during operations.
