Role Description This is a full-time, on-site House Manager role located in Portland, OR. The House Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a private household, ensuring that schedules, household tasks, and staffing needs are efficiently managed. The role includes supervising household staff, managing supplies and inventory, coordinating schedules, running errands, and supporting the family with key duties, including meal preparation and planning. The House Manager will act as a point of contact for household vendors and services, ensuring high standards and satisfaction with all outputs and systems. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage household staff and oversee daily operationsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with household members and vendorsExperience in training and coaching staff to maintain high performance standardsCommitment to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive household environmentBasic to advanced cooking skills to assist in meal preparation and kitchen managementStrong organizational and time-management skillsProblem-solving abilities to handle varying household needs and prioritiesPrevious experience in a House Manager or similar role is preferred
