Job Description Job Title: Material Handler (No Forklift)Location: Logan, UTShift: 3rd ShiftPay Rate: $19.65/hourlyJob SummaryThe Material Handler supports food manufacturing operations by safely moving, staging, and storing raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role ensures accurate inventory handling while following all safety, sanitation, and food quality standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material‐handling equipment safelySupply production and packaging lines with required materialsLoad/unload trailers and verify counts and documentationPerform material movements and system transactions (scanning, labeling, inventory)Inspect materials for damage, contamination, or labeling errorsMaintain FIFO/FEFO material rotationFollow GMP, safety, and sanitation standardsKeep warehouse, docks, and staging areas clean and organizedAssist with cycle counts and inventory auditsCommunicate with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teamsHigh school diploma or GED required2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; prior lead or supervisory experience preferredWorking knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and GMP/SQF requirementsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead, coach, and work effectively with diverse teams and cross-functional partnersPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periodsRegularly lift and move up to 50 pounds; occasionally more with assistanceWork in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and humidityMust be able to work assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as requiredWhy Join Us?Front-line leadership opportunity with hands-on impactCollaborative team environment focused on safety, quality, and performanceGrowth and development opportunities within manufacturing operationsApply today to be part of a team committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
