Snowflake Data Engineering Advisor MortgagePosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Data Engineering Advisor with strong mortgage-domain knowledge and current hands-on engineering expertise.This is not a purely advisory or architectural position. The selected consultant must be capable of guiding technical strategy while personally designing, developing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise Snowflake solutions.Key Requirements:8+ years of Data Engineering/Data Warehousing experience4+ years of recent hands-on Snowflake experienceStrong U.S. mortgage/lending domain extensive experienceAdvanced SQL and PythonHands-on dbt experienceApache Airflow/Astronomer experienceSnowflake Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and SnowparkStrong ETL/ELT, data modeling, performance tuning, and production support experienceExperience with Git/GitHub and CI/CDAbility to work hands-on while also providing technical guidancePreferred QualificationsSnowflake certification.Experience with mortgage data platforms, loan-origination systems, servicing systems, or mortgage data warehouses.Familiarity with common mortgage concepts and datasets, including borrower, property, loan, payment, escrow, delinquency, foreclosure, investor, and servicing data.Experience with MISMO data standards.Experience supporting regulatory, audit, risk, investor, or executive reporting.Experience with Sigma or Power BI.Experience with data-quality and observability platforms such as Monte Carlo or Sifflet.Experience designing large-scale, highly available, secure, and cost-efficient cloud data platforms.
