POSITION:Grades 6-12 Choral Music Teacher Wilcox County Middle/High SchoolEffective Date: 2026-27 School year - Employment will begin on July 27, 2026JOB DESCRIPTION: This will be a full-time teaching position. Applicants must be certified in Music Education (or eligible for obtaining certification).JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or higher with Georgia Certificate in Music (PK-12) or eligibility to obtain certification.Strong classroom management skills and a desire to improve the instructional program.Strong communication skill including the ability to communicate with school staff, students and the community.Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with students, parents, and the administration.Terms of Employment: State salary schedule with 190 contracted daysInterested applicants should apply through TeachGeorgia.org by 3:00 p.m. on May 18, 2026.
