Details 29-bed orthopedic and medical-surgical unit serving adult through geriatric patients High-volume patient population includes total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties Moderate-volume patient population includes general surgical procedures and inpatient/24-hour observation medical patients Telemetry monitoring is available on the unit On-unit physical therapy gym allows patients to receive PT without leaving the floor Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday) Floating required as needed No on-call responsibilities Epic EMR — experience is mandatory Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Charge RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Driver's license copy required for consideration Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information RNs may be assigned Charge RN responsibilities as needed All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — study materials are not provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Strict zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences Scheduling flexibility is expected American Traveler Job ID P-685235.
