As a member of the Software Quality Assurance team, you will contribute to evaluating and improving the quality of software products, including those integrated with firmware components. You will collaborate with the software quality team to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring that software meets functional and performance requirements. Your role will involve identifying defects, documenting issues, and working closely with development teams to support continuous improvement in product quality.Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesFollow established ISO procedures for carrying out tasksCreate and execute detailed test cases for new and existing application featuresPerform manual regression, integration, and system level testsOrganize and document test releasesDocument manual testing on all products based upon high level test plansWork in conjunction with developers to meet software goalsParticipate in specification, design, and code reviews as neededPreferred QualificationsAptitude to learn or experience using test automation tools and or frameworksFamiliarity with version control softwareExperience with project management or test management software (Azure Devops, Jira, TestRail, Qase)Knowledge or experience working in agile or scrum development environmentsRequired Skill And QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or relevant experience (minimum of three years) in software development or testingStrong verbal and written communications skillsAbility to write clear and complete process documentation and test plansExcellent interpersonal skills are required. This position must work effectively with product development team members, SQA team members, and project managersWorking EnvironmentOffice and laboratory environmentCollaborative cross functional team environmentReports to Software Quality ManagerThis job posting is not an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities of the position.Compensation InformationThis position has a starting salary range of $80,000 to $93,000 per year.
