Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking an Entry Level Inspector to join our team. You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.Responsibilities:Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gagesDaily inspection on inbound and outbound materialPerform thorough examinations of all materials and finished productsImplement and improve quality control operating proceduresParticipate in routine visual inspectionsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentAbility to enter data into reportQualifications:At least 6 months experienceExperience with fittings flanges pipe preferredForklift experienceReach truck experienceMust be able to do simple mathAbility to interpret technical product specsStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer proficiencyProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)First Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Work Environment: Extreme heat and cold temperatures may be encountered during the course of the work day.
